Raheem Sterling’s Home Targeted in Burglary While Family Present

Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling and his family experienced a frightening break-in at their home on Saturday evening, although thankfully, no one was harmed.

The incident occurred in Berkshire, shortly before Chelsea faced Wolves in the Premier League. Sterling, who has not yet played for the Blues this season, was at home with his partner Paige Milian and their children, having been left out of the match squad.

A representative for Sterling said:

“While this is an extremely upsetting invasion of privacy and safety, we are grateful to confirm that he and his loved ones are safe.”

Thames Valley Police confirmed the burglary, stating that officers were called at around 6:30 pm and are conducting a full investigation. The police urged anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area to come forward with information.

This is not the first time Sterling has been targeted. In 2022, he left England’s World Cup camp in Qatar after his family home was robbed shortly before the quarter-final against France.

Previously, three burglars responsible for a series of raids on high-profile individuals, including Sterling, were jailed in 2020.

Since joining Chelsea from Manchester City in 2022, Sterling spent last season on loan at Arsenal. Despite efforts to secure a transfer this summer, he remains at Stamford Bridge, continuing his training with the club. summer and has been training separately from Chelsea’s first-team squad this season.
